Change in Run-Off Management

Shortly after the appointment of BATLINER WANGER BATLINER Attorneys at law Ltd. as liquidator of Gable Insurance AG (Gable) by the Princely Court of Justice in November 2016, the liquidator was able to engage Enstar (EU) Limited (Enstar) as run-off manager.

In the years since, Enstar has been responsible for the claims management and technical operations of Gable and has assisted with various other tasks as well. The liquidator and all parties concerned have benefitted from the expertise and experience, reliability and motivation of the Enstar team.

The liquidation has reached a new stage: There is less day-to-day activity, whereas the remaining or emerging issues are usually complex and require a strategic assessment. Therefore, the liquidator aims at concentrating and centralizing all aspects of the liquidation and has, after serious consideration, decided to end the current agreement with Enstar as of 28 February 2025.

The liquidator would like to stress that this is not due to any dissatisfaction with Enstar’s services, which have always been excellent, but simply a decision rendered necessary by the advancement of the liquidation process.

From 1 March 2025, creditors and other interested parties should contact the liquidator directly with their questions in connection with the Gable liquidation.
